Are you feeling lonely, lost, or confused in your life and relationships, struggling to connect to your inner self and to others? Are you wanting to experience life more fully but find that difficult emotions, thoughts, or experiences continue to get in the way of your personal and relational growth? I believe therapy offers a safe and supportive, relational experience that can bring clarity and understanding to life's difficulties, as well as provide a path of choice and freedom.
I counsel with respect and kindness, knowing from personal experience that the journey from pain to joy can be hard. I know what it is to be in crisis, to grieve deeply, and to heal from trauma. Most of all, I have learned to love myself and trust others along the way and hope to offer you the same patience and care offered to me in my journey.
My approach is person-centered, believing that you, more than I, know yourself and what you need and want. And yet, we all need connection and relationship to be ourselves and navigate life's ups and downs. With help to understand your story, embrace your emotions, and connect to your experience, you can begin working through what may seem insurmountable.
