Lucy Pidek, Master Level Intern
About Lucy
Lucy is a counseling intern pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is under the supervision of a licensed therapist while completing her training at the Secure Attachment Initiative.
Lucy is currently accepting new clients at the Lakewood Location and accepts Colorado Medicaid (all regions), Cigna, Aetna, and Optum (United/UMR - non Medicare) insurance. Lucy's private pay rate is $80.
Lucy works with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions of identity and self-worth. She offers a grounded, supportive space where clients can show up as they are—no pretending, no perfection required.
Lucy is passionate about “keeping it real” in therapy. She understands the struggles of the human experience firsthand and believes healing happens when we face the hard things with honesty, self-compassion, and connection. Her approach is relational, warm, and down-to-earth, combining evidence-based practices with deep respect for each person’s story and strengths.
As a lifelong runner and athlete, Lucy brings a mind-body awareness to her work and sees parallels between training and the growth that happens in therapy—both require patience, courage, and a willingness to show up even when it’s hard. For clients who desire it, she is also able to integrate Christian faith into the counseling process, while always honoring and welcoming people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
